The report from the Board of Directors is posited amidst the financial and economic challenges,
the social and political uncertainties and the academic and educational achievements of
our young people. Jamaica finally inked an International Monetary Fund (IMF) deal and the
financial sector, along with the wider society, underwent another debt exchange.
Through all the challenges internationally, nationally and locally, our members have generally
been very supportive of the Manchester Co-operative Credit Union (1977) Limited. The
management and staff, through their continued high commitment to the service of our
members, have again delivered a year of quality and efficient services. The Board of Directors
is pleased to have reposed in the staff, the skill sets and competencies to give guidance and
advice for sound decision-making on behalf of all our members. We are therefore pleased to
account to our membership on the mandate given us to direct your financial affairs for the
period.
During the year under review the Board met regularly to conduct the business of our Credit
