MATTERS ARISING
Saturday Banking
: Mrs. Karlene Kelly-Reid asked if there were still plans to phase out
Saturday banking by 2013. She said her primary reason for asking was that strong competition
has come into the market which should be a differentiating factor to be considered. Rev.
Gardner responded that this had been looked at and it has been differed as there was need
for further analysis.
Short Term Goals
– Mr. Kenneth Grant asked about the status of the following:
Employment of a Business Development Officer
Implementation of a new operating system and
Offering of online banking
Miss Swaby said a Business Development Officer was employed and has been
doing well. As it relates to the implementation of a new operating system,
she said that was still being negotiated while the online banking should be a
reality by the third quarter of 2013.
