The President's New Years' Message

Rev. Dr. Paul GardnerAnother New Year has dawned and with it are the many challenges and opportunities that face us. The New Year signals fresh start, new opportunities, new beginnings and new resolutions. We truly hope that you will experience a glorious year and one that brings reward for all your endeavors. Your Credit Union remains committed to ensuring that this New Year, you will reap sweet rewards for you and your family. Your Credit Union is here to serve you and we will further recommit and redouble our efforts to exceed your expectations of service.

As we begin this year, we are in a sense opening a new door. The opening of such a door signals the closing of another. In essence, the door of 2008 has been opened. We can only do post mortem analysis on 2007 and that is usually a worthwhile exercise. However, none of us should allow the past to make us incompetent in the present and rigid for the future. We learn from the past to reconstruct, revise and refashion for tomorrow; reconstruct as it pertains to our lives and revise and refashion our dreams and aspirations.

Your Credit Union has made the commitment to assist you in reconstructing your financial affairs for 2008 and as the year progresses; we will seek to help you in the realization of your aspirations. So, as the open door of 2008 beckons, may you continue to experience in your Credit Union the excellence in service and the dedication we have shown to all our members for which we remain justly proud.

On behalf of the board of directors, the entire Volunteer Corp as well as the management and staff, I wish for you and your family a happy and blessed year.

Paul Gardner (Rev. Dr.)
