Sydney Carter Scholarship & GSAT Bursary Awards Luncheon

The luncheon for the presentation of the 2006 Sydney Carter Scholarship and GSAT Bursaries was held at the International Chinese Restaurant on August 30, 2006. The guest speaker was Mrs. Charmaine Gooden-Monteith, Community Relations Officer at the Ministry of Education & Youth, Region 5.
Ten students received awards totalling $410,000.00. Six of the students who are youth savers at the Credit Union received GSAT Bursaries of $10,000.00 each. They are:

Three students at the tertiary level received bursaries from the Sydney Carter Scholarship Fund while another received the Sydney Carter Scholarship. These students are as follows:
